The treasure chest is made of local cherry wood. The rear hinges are made of leather and the shutters in front of the chest are made of brass.
The idea of this treasure chest is of course to give the "treasures" of children a special place. They also can keep their little "secrets" in here.
You certainly also might use the treasure chest as a jewelery box.
